Great Nanna's Honey Nut Flapjacks

Why I Love This Recipe
This is a sweet, sticky flapjack recipe developed by our Great Nanna - June. She always adds an extra special 'surprise' ingredient. Sometimes Cranberries, sometimes apricots, sometimes chocolate chips! She likes to add extra nuts because she is crazy about nuts!
Ingredients You'll Need
160g Honey Nut Cornflakes
200g butter
100g dark brown soft sugar
30g runny honey
200g porridge oats
75g cranberries (or apricots, or dates, or chocolate chips, or extra nuts, or other dried fruit)
Directions
1) Preheat oven at 180c or gas mark 4
2) Crush cornflakes to the size of porridge oats
3) In a pan melt the butter, dark brown soft sugar
4) Stir in cornflakes, fruit and porridge oats until combined
5) Pour into non-stick baking tin (8 x 12 inch)
6) Cook for 20 minutes
7) Remove from oven, cut into squares and cool
