450 g of fresh green beans, trimmed
1-2 tablespoons olive oil (or sunflower oil or neutral-tasting oil)
1 medium onion, finely diced
Salt and ground black pepper, to taste
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook and stir onion in hot oil until tender and translucent, mixing regularly, 5 to 7 minutes. Add green beans and season with salt. Cook and stir for 3 to 5 minutes more (or until cooked but still a little crunchy or to any consistency that you prefer). Add pepper. Taste and season, to taste. Serve immediately.
