Why I Love This Recipe

Green Goddess salad dressing was created at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco in the 1920s. This would be a great time for a come back of a delicious dressing.


Ingredients You'll Need

3 T. lemon juice
3 green onions cut into 1/2" pieces
1 c. basil, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 anchovy, mashed
2 t. freshly ground sea salt
2 eggs
1 c. olive oil
1 c. sour cream
1 t. freshly ground black pepper


Directions

In a blender container put lemon juice, green onion, basil, garlic, anchovy, salt, and egg. Turn blender to high for a few seconds. Remove inner cap of lid, and with blender on low, slowly add olive oil. Remove to a bowl, add sour cream and stir well. Add black pepper, taste to adjust seasoning and refrigerate until ready to serve.


Pairs Well With

Great on a wedge of lettuce.
