Why I Love This Recipe

I make this recipe nearly once every week in the summer. It is so easy and delicious, and healthy too!! I have served it at summer parties and it is a big hit. People as me for the recipe all the time. I even use this same sauce recipe to marinate pork tenderloin. Enjoy!!

Ingredients You'll Need

Chicken (you can use boneless skinlees breasts, or your favorite chicken pieces)
1/4 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
2 tsp. dried oregano (or you can use 1/4 cup chopped fresh oregano)
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. finely chopped garlic
1/3 cup olive oil (or extra virgin olive oil)

Directions

Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper and grill. (You can use whatever you like: gas grill, charcoal grill, or even george forman grill)!

Meahwhile, make the lemon oregano sauce. Mix together the lemon juice, oregano, salt, pepper, and garlic. While whisking, stream in the olive oil.

When chicken is done cooking, simply soak the chicken pieces in the lemon oregano sauce. You can garnish with grilled sliced lemons.

I always end up pouring the left over sauce over my chicken, it is delicious and couldn't be easier.
