Why I Love This Recipe

This is an easy to prepare crowd pleasing recipe.

Ingredients You'll Need

2 (1.5 - 2 lb.) London Broil first cut steaks
1 cup brewed dark roast coffee
1 cup robust red wine
4 cloves garlic
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. Dijon mustard
2 tbsp. black pepper
2 tbsp. garlic powder
2 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. red pepper flakes
1 tsp. ground coffee

Combine brewed coffee, wine, 4 cloves of pressed garlic, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard into a bowl and mix until well blended.

Pour the now blended marinade into a large plastic zip lock bag and add the steak.

Give the mixture a good shake and let it sit in the marinade (refrigerated) for at least 2 hours.

Combine the black pepper, garlic powder, salt, red pepper, and ground coffee into a bowl and stir the dry rub.

Remove the steak from the marinade and pat dry.

Coat the steak with the dry rub.

Grill 4 minutes per side, checking the temperature and repeating until your desired cook is reached. (approximately 140 F. for a rare steak)

Let the steak rest for at least 5 minutes prior to slicing.
