Why I Love This Recipe

The first time we ate Guava cake was not in Hawaii, but at King's Hawaiian restaurant and bakery in Torrance and got hooked on it.

Ingredients You'll Need

Ingredients:
2 Cups Sugar
1 Cup butter
4 Eggs
1 Cup Guava pulp
1/2 cup guava juice
3 Cups Cake flour
1 tsp Nutmeg
1 1/4 tsp Baking soda
1/4 tsp Cloves
1/4 tsp. cinnamon


Directions

Cooking Instructions:


Cream sugar and butter well. Add 1 egg at a time to creamed mixture. Sift flour, nutmeg, soda, cinnamon and cloves together. Mix guava pulp and juice together. Add flour mixture and guava mixture alternately to creamed mixture. Bake at 350ºF for 30 - 35 minutes.
