Habanero Fritters

Why I Love This Recipe
"Inspired by the Great Balls of Fire from Salvador Molly's. First time I made this I used 16 habaneros and only a few could eat them, The next time I used 8 and while still quite hot, more people could enjoy them. I generally use 6-7 for a small kick that nearly anyone can eat. To make them comparable to the Great Balls of Fire, use 30 habaneros." ~ Judy
Ingredients You'll Need
1 cup Flour
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking Soda
2 Eggs
1/2 cup Milk
1 Tbsp Melted Butter
1/4 cup Sugar
2 Tbsp Black Pepper
1/4 Tbsp Garlic Powder
1 Tbsp Cumin
1 tsp Onion Powder
2 cup s Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
1/2 cup Shredded Sharp Cheddar
8 Habaneros
Directions
*Blend all ingredients until well mixed
*Add more flour, if necessary, to make batter consistency
*Use small melon baller to make scoops and fry in 375 degrees until golden brown
Recipe Tips:
*Place fritters on wax paper and place in freezer for 5-10 minutes before frying - helps keep them together better
