Why I Love This Recipe
The eerie moaning heard on dark Halloween night may not always come from ghosts. All too often, it emanates in the middle of the night from miniature goblins, ballerinas and action heroes who have indulged in too much candy on empty tummies. As a registered dietitian I suggest enticing them with a horribly gruesome sounding menu - recipes gory enough to suit any goblin, yet secretly packed with nutrition, before sending them off into the night.
Ingredients You'll Need
2 pita breads
8 slices Pepper Jack cheese
Directions
With scissors, cut each pita bread into four wedges. Tuck one slice of Pepper Jack cheese into each wedge. Place on microwave safe dish. Microwave 45 seconds on high until cheese oozes out. Makes 8 wedges.
