Why I Love This Recipe

This is a keeper at out house. I got it out of the July/August 2001 Quick Cooking magazine. It says it serves 6-8, but not at my house because my husband always over served himself lol. It helps to put a dab of oil on your hands when rolling so they don't stick to the dough.

Ingredients You'll Need

1 tube (11oz.) refrigerated French bread
8 oz. Thinly sliced deli ham
8 oz. Shredded Swiss cheese
6 green onions, sliced
8 bacon strips, cooked, drained and crumbled

Directions

Unroll dough on a greased baking sheet. Place ham over dough to within 1/2 inch of edges; sprinkle evenly with onions, bacon and cheese. Roll up jelly-roll style, starting with a long side. Pinch seams to seal and tuck ends under. Place seam side down on baking sheet.

With a sharp knife, cut several 1/4 inch deep slits on top of loaf. Bake at 350°F for 26-30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm.
