Hamburg steak, and rice with red wine gravy

Ingredients You'll Need
1/2 lb of ground beef
1 onion
2 carrots
2 stalks of celery
1 tbspn soy sauce
1 tsp korean chili powder
1 tsp worcestershire sauce
3 cloves garlic
2 cups beef broth
1/4c bread crumbs
2 tablespoons A.P flour
1 oz Red wine
2 Cups jasmine rice
Directions
preheat oven to 350
rinse rice and prepare as normal
Chop onion, celery, and carrots into small dice along with garlic
set aside
begin to sauté 1/2 of the mirepoix until tender, adding garlic half way. transfer to a bowl and chill
In a new bowl mix meat, spices, bread crumbs, and eggs together then add cooled mirepoix
form 2 patties and sear in a hot pan for 2 min then flip. place in oven and cook until meat reads 165 on a thermometer
Transfer meat to rack and cook the rest of the mirepoix sprinkle with flour half way through cooking
add red wine and cook to remove alcohol, then add beef stock. Cook until thick
plate Hamburg steak, and rice together with the gravy. garnish with a furikake mix
