Why I Love This Recipe

This recipe I obtained from a coworker years ago.She made if for get togethers and it is easy, and elegant looking for any occasion.

Ingredients You'll Need

1 16 oz pound cake, cut into cubes ( I use Sara Lee)
1 16 oz jar of hot fudge sauce, melted (can use microwave)
1/4 cup Kahlua or Amaretto
6 Heath or Skor bars, crushed-save 1 bar for garnish
3 small pkg. vanilla instant pudding mix
1 1/2 pints whipping cream
3 cups milk
4 sliced bananas
1 12oz container Cool Whip

Directions

In a large bowl, place cut up pound cake.

Sprinkle 5 crushed candy bars on top of cake.

Pour melted hot fudge sauce, mixed with liqueur over the candy bars. DON'T MIX!

In a separate bowl, mix pudding mix with cream and milk with wire whisk until smooth.

Pour pudding over chocolate, cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

In a large trifle or glass serving bowl, layer scoops of pudding mixture, Cool Whip, slices of banana alternately.

End with a layer of cool Whip.

Sprinkle remaining crushed candy bar over top for garnish.

Cover and refrigerate overnight.
