Why I Love This Recipe
I made this last night for dinner. The gravy was wonderful, and the chops were very tender, good flavor also. I always use the fat free broths, chicken, beef or vegetable to make rice-instead of water.
Ingredients You'll Need
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. dried basil leaves OR thyme leaves, crushed
4 boneless pork chops, 3/4" thick
1 tbsp. vegetable oil OR olive oil
1 medium onions, sliced
1 can (10 3/4 oz.) cream of mushroom soup(I used fat free)
1/4 cup milk (I used skim)
hot cooked rice
Directions
Mix garlic, paprika and basil, coat the pork chops with seasoning mixture. Heat oil in skillet. Add the pork chops and cook until browned. Add the onion and cook until tender. Add soup and milk. Heat to a boil. Cover and cook over low heat 10 min. or until done. Serve with rice.
