Holiday Princess Cookies

Why I Love This Recipe
I created this recipe for a christmas party. I wanted to bring something memorable to the table and I started with a Paula Deen Southern Tea Cake recipe as the base and went from there :)

Ingredients You'll Need
2 Cups All Purpose Flour
1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1 Cup Sugar
1 Egg
1/4 Cup 2% Milk
1 Stick of Butter, Softened
1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla extract or imitation
1 Cup of White Chocolate Chips
12 crushed peppermints
1 Bowl of Powder Sugar (for rolling)
Directions
Preheat your Oven to 350 degrees
Sift Flour, Baking Soda and Baking powder in a large bowl. Add everything else but the chips and peppermints and blend well.
Knead in your chips and peppermints into the dough and roll out to 1/4 inch.
Cut into shapes or roll into balls and cover in powder sugar. Place on cookies sheet about 1 inch apart on parchment paper.
Bake fore 10 minutes and let stand 2 minutes in pan before moving to cooling rack
