Why I Love This Recipe

I needed to be salt free and I use Chili mix in recipes. So I went online and found several that had too much salt so I combine some of the lowest salt recipes and came up with this salt free mix that is great. I gave this as Christmas gifts last year.

Ingredients You'll Need

1 Tbsp Chili Powder
2 tsp Ground Cumin
1 tsp Oregano
1 dried Chili Pepper, crushed
1 tsp Onion Powder
1/4 tsp Garlic powder

Directions

Combine all ingredients and store in and airtight container. I put in a Ziploc in a pretty jar that sits on my kitchen counter with my other homemade mixes.

How much to use depends on your taste, I would start with a tsp to 1 lb meat(beef, chicken what ever!).

You can tinker with the recipe and make it your own. Add the things you like, want it hotter add Cayenne pepper. Want more salt add some.
