Why I Love This Recipe

this is fun for kids and less toxic - although let them know they shouldn't eat the stuff.

Ingredients You'll Need

3 tablespoons salt (Coarse salt or rock salt would look better)
About 2 drops of food coloring (Depending if you need to mix colors to obtain a particular color.)

Directions

place the salt in a sandwich bag or sealable bag.

Add a few drops of food coloring to make various colors. Seal the bag. Move the salt around using your fingers. Keep the bag open. Let dry. (It usually takes a half a day or less.)

Questions, Comments & Reviews

Hi Martha. The colored salt is just like the bath salts we adults use to "destress". Kids like it because it colors the bath water but it is also great at healing little scrapes & cuts or sore muscles when used in their bath :)

What do you do with colored salt? What is it used for?
