2 teaspoons of high-quality matcha powder
1/3 cup of hot water (about 175°F)
1 cup of unsweetened coconut milk
1 tablespoon honey or sweetener of choice, to taste

Directions
In a small bowl, sieve the matcha powder to remove any clumps.
Add the hot water to the matcha and whisk vigorously with a bamboo matcha whisk or a small hand whisk until the matcha is fully dissolved and a froth forms.
In a glass, add the coconut milk and honey (if not using granulated sweetener). Stir until fully mixed.
Fill the glass halfway with ice cubes.
Slowly pour the whisked matcha mixture over the coconut milk and ice.
Gently stir if you prefer a mixed drink or leave as is for layered aesthetics.
