Why I Love This Recipe

Idli Burger is a fusion created with idli, without any burger buns and our all time favourite aloo tikki. It is very easy recipe and can be considered for snacks or brunch.


Ingredients You'll Need

2 idlis.
3 mashed potatoes.
1 cup rice flour.
Chopped coriander.
Finely chopped green chillies.
Chopped tomatoes.
Chopped onion rings.
Tomato Ketchup.
Spices.
Salt to taste.


Directions

Step1
Take the mashed potatoes and add coriander in it. Then add chopped green chillies. Salt to taste and some spices. I have added red chilly powder in it. Mix it well. Once all the ingredients are mixed well, add one cup rice flour to it. Knead to form a smooth dough.


Step2
Let the dough rest for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, take small balls out of it and shape it to form tikkis. Now time, to shallow fry these tikkis. We will fry the tikkis till we get golden yellow color


Step3
Now cut the idlis into 2 halves. Apply tomato ketchup on first half. Place one tikki on it. Top it with tomato and cut onion rings. Place the other half of idli on it. Garnish the top of burger with tomato, coriander and few mustard seeds.
