Impossibly Easy Breakfast Casserole
Why I Love This Recipe
This is a recipe that I served at my daughter's wedding brunch. It was a real hit! We have served it many times since.
Ingredients You'll Need
2 packages bulk mild pork sausage
1 c. chopped green bell pepper
1/2 c. Chopped sweet onion
3 c. frozen hash brown potatoes ( I use Ore-Ida)
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1 c. Original Bisquick
2 c. 2% milk
1/2 t. freshly ground black pepper
4 large eggs
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Spray 13X9X2 inch baking dish with Pam.
Cook sausage, bell pepper, and onion in skillet over medium heat, stirring, until sausage is browned.
Stir together potatoes, sausage mixture, and cheese.
Place in baking dish.
Stir Bisquick, milk, pepper, and eggs until blended.
Pour over sausage potato mixture in baking dish.
Bake 45 minutes or until knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool 5 minutes before serving.
