Ingredients You'll Need

1-1/2 cups flour
3/4 cups chopped nuts( used almonds)
1/2 cup brown sugar ( used 1/4 cup brown and 1/4 cup white)
1/2 cup melted butter or margarine

Mix all ingredients to make a coarse meal texture. Reserve 1 cup then pat the remaining into a lightly greased 13x9" pan. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes.

Filling ingredients:
16 oz. cream cheese
1/2 cup sugar (used 1/4)
1 tablespoon vanilla
2 large eggs
2/3 cup evaporated milk
2 cups (12-oz. pkg.) semisweet chocolate morsels


Beat the cream cheese and sugar and vanilla till smooth. Beat in the eggs. Gradually beat in the evaporated milk.

Microwave the morsels, uncovered for 1 minute on high. Stir and if necessary nuke for 10-15 more seconds at a time till chocolate is smooth. Beat into the cream cheese and pour over the hot crust. Sprinkle with the

reserved topping.

Bake for 25-30 minutes at 350. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
