Jalapeno Cornbread

Why I Love This Recipe
This is a recipe I got from my mom...its so good with a bowl of chili
Ingredients You'll Need
3 cups self rising cornmeal
1/2 cup chopped jalapeno peppers
1 small jar pimentos
3 eggs beaten
1/2 cup of oil
2 1/2 cups buttermilk
1 medium onion chopped
1 small can creamed corn
2 cups sharp shredded cheese
Directions
Preheat onion to 375. Grease a 13x9 glass pan. Mix all ingredients and pour into pan. Cook about 45 minutes or until golden brown. Test the center with a toothpick
