Why I Love This Recipe
I was trying to create a dish that was pretty & tasty. We eat this about three times a month, never tire of it & is the favorite at picnics. I actually don't measure my ingredients, except the sauce. Enjoy!
You can also add chopped chicken to create a one dish meal!
Ingredients You'll Need
1 box Near East Roasted Garlic & Olive Oil Cous-Cous
1/4 c. olive oil
1 T. lemon juice
1 t. cumin
1 t. hot madras curry powder
1 Tomatoe diced
1/2 Yellow or Orange Pepper diced
3-4 Scallions sliced
1 c. Garbonzo Beans drained & rinsed
3/4 c Raisens
1/2 c. Pine nuts
Add cooked cous-cous a little at a time to break up any clumps. When all is mixed then add the sauce & mix again. You can serve this warm but we prefer it cold. You can also add chopped chicken to create a one dish meal!
