Why I Love This Recipe

Not sure if this is the same one mom used to make, but the recipe came from Grandma Jean.

Ingredients You'll Need

1 lb. lean ground beef or hot sausage
1 c. shredded onion (optional; I'd negate)
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 c. Bisquick baking mix
1 c. milk
2 eggs

Directions

Brown beef and onion, add salt, then spread in 9" greased pie plate. ....and the rest is history! This is where the recipe ends.

I'm guessing you can do this a couple of ways. You may do a base layer of pie crust, then add fillings, and top with cheese. Bake at 400 degrees for 30-35 minutes. OR Do a base layer of pie crust, add all fillings (including cheese), and then put a top layer of crust on.
