Why I Love This Recipe

This happens to be one of my easiest and most requested sugar cookies to make. *I use an icecream scoop to put the dough on the cookie sheets! It makes less cookies and takes a little longer to bake. About 14 min.

2 large eggs
1 t vanilla
4 c flour
1 t salt
1 t baking soda
1 t cream of tartar
Additional sugar-optional

Beat butter and oil in large bowl at med. speed until blended.

Gradually add 1 c sugar and powdered sugar, beating well.

Add eggs and vanilla, beating until blended. Combine four and next 3 ingred.

Add to butter mixture, mixing well.

Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake @ 350 degrees for 9-10 min or until lightly broned.

Remove to wire racks; sprinkle with additionl sugar while warm, if desired.
