Why I Love This Recipe

This is a recipe that be turned into a variety of meals by using the term Lasagna. Meat can be substituted with a mixture of both Italian Sausage and Beef, use Veggies instead of Meat, Use Squid or fish as a substitute. Use your imagination when thinking of your next meal.

Ingredients You'll Need

1 Clove Garlic (Chopped)
3/4 Cup Chopped Onion (Optional)
1 1/2 LB Ground Beef
2 TBSP Cooking Oil
12 OZ Lasagna Noodles
1 LB Ricotta Italian Cheese
2 Eggs (Beat in little bowl)
Handful of Parsley or Parsley Flakes
Salt and Pepper in Ricotta Cheese
1/2 Cup Grated Romano Parmesan Cheese
1 Large Package of Mozzarella
1 to 2 Jars of Italian Tomato Sauce (Depends on your taste)


Mix together beaten eggs with Ricotta Cheese, Salt, Pepper and Parsley

Cook chopped onions and garlic in 2 TBSP of Oil in skillet until tender. Add ground beef and cook until meat is browned. Then drain and add about 1/2 to 1 cup of Italian Tomato Sauce to suit taste. Let simmer for a few minutes.

Cook Lasagna noodles in boiling water with a pinch of salt and 1 TBSP of cooking oil to prevent sticking of Noodles. Cook for 15 minutes. Rinse Noodles in cold water.

Grease a 9 by 13 inch pan to prevent sticking of noodles while baking. Pour enough sauce to cover bottom of pan before Placing your first layer of Noodles on bottom of pan. Spread a layer of Meat mixture onto Noodles. (Lightly sprinkle a layer of Mozzarella Cheese on top of Meat, this is optional)

Lay another layer of Noodles on top of Meat. (Optional may pour a little sauce onto Noodle before Adding a layer of the Ricotta Cheese mixture, Mozzarella Cheese, then the Grated Cheese.

Repeat the Meat mixture and Ricotta Cheese, Mozzarella Cheese and Grated Cheese mixture to have at least Four (4) layers. Leaving a single layer of Noodles on top.

Pour a jar of your favorite Italian Sauce on top of the Noodles and sprinkle the remaining Mozzarella Cheese with a sprinkle of Grated Cheese on top of the Tomato Sauce. (Optional may sprinkle some Parley on top of cheese for added color.)

Pre-heat oven at 350 Degrees
Bake for 20 to 30 Minutes (Different times depends on the type of oven you own i. e. Electric or Gas)

Don't let the cheese burn!!!
