Why I Love This Recipe

This recipe has been "perfected" from a friend's family recipe. Making this sauce means care, intention and love - when you know something tasty is made from scratch, it means so much more

Ingredients You'll Need

1 whole red onion
4 cloves garlic (crushed)
3 tbls. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 tsp. Johnny's Seasoning Salt
1 tbls. garlic power
1 tsp. black pepper
1 tbls. oregano
1/2 tsp basil
1/2 tsp parsley

Directions

heat olive oil

dice onions

add to heated olive oil

crush garlic into sauteeing onions

saute onions and garlic until onions are "see-through"

add tomatoes, mash with spoon or potato masher

add all seasonings

simmer for 15 minutes

serve over pasta, gnocci, or whatever! :)
