Ingredients You'll Need

1 cup butter
1 cup white sugar
3 tablespoon lemon juice
1 egg
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup confectioners' sugar
semi-sweet chocolate chips
yellow decorator sugar


Beat sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add lemon juice and egg; blend well. Stir in flour, baking powder and salt; mix well.

Refrigerate for 1 hour. Roll out and cut into 2-3 inch flower shaped cookie cutter.

Place 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Spring with decorator sugar.

Bake 400 degrees for 5-7 minutes.

Immediately place chocolate chip in center of each cookie.
