Liz's sausage rolls (Australian)
Why I Love This Recipe
This is our favourite Saturday family lunch recipe and Harry, Finn and Ella love to bring sausage rolls to school for lunch.

Ingredients You'll Need
500g sausage, minced
1/2 chopped onion
few sprigs chopped parsley
1 packet of pre-rolled puff or short-crust pastry
Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F.
Mix all ingredients together with hands.
Cut a pastry square in half and place flat on board. Put a line of meat mixture 1cm from the edge of the pastry and then fold over the meat mixture and re-fold edge back over. Brush edge with milk and press edges together. Brush top of sausage roll lightly with milk and cut in 5cm lengths.
Place on a baking tray and cook in oven for approximately 20 minutes or until pastry is golden brown.
