2 pounds potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 cup sweet milk
4 tbsp butter
1/2 cup sour cream
1 bottle real bacon bits
1/2 cup green onions, sliced finely
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Directions
Place potatoes in dutch oven. Cover with water; bring to a boil. Cook over medium-high heat until tender, about 10 to 20 minutes; drain. Return potatoes to dutch oven; add milk and butter. Mash until smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in sour cream, bacon and onions. Top with cheese. Makes 6 servings.
