Why I Love This Recipe

I love long grain rice and I love to make it this way. If you let the rice cook for long enough, it will get crunchy on the bottom and you will have a nice crunchy snack.

Ingredients You'll Need

1 1/3 Cup Long Grain Rice
7 Cups Water (Used @ Separate Times)
1 Stick Butter
1 tspn Olive Oil
1 tspn Salt

Directions

Prep:

Soak rice in 3 cups water over night.

Directions:

1st: Rinse rice well and place in a pot with 4 cups water.

2nd: Add Salt and Olive Oil.

3rd: Bring to Boil, Reduce Heat to Medium.

4th: Let Cook Until rice is almost done (Soft on the Outside... Crunchy on the inside). Approximately 20-25 minutes. Stirring Occassionally.

5th: Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

6th: Strain Rice and Place into your choice of baking pan with 1 stick of butter. Mix Butter and Rice together.

7th: Place rice in oven and bake for 25-30 minutes.
