Ingredients You'll Need

1 cup Korean instant rice
1/2 cup sliced abalone, thawed and drained if frozen
1/2 cup peeled and roasted chestnuts
1/4 cup honey, divided
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon rice vinegar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 inch fresh ginger, grated
2 green onions, thinly sliced, divided
Salt and black pepper to taste


Directions

In a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of the honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, garlic, and grated ginger. Mix well and set aside.


Cook the instant rice according to package instructions in the microwave.


Once cooked, transfer the rice to a large bowl and gently fluff with a fork.


Add the sliced abalone, roasted chestnuts, and half of the green onions to the rice.


Pour the honey-soy mixture over the rice and gently toss to combine, ensuring all ingredients are evenly coated.


Drizzle the remaining 2 tablespoons of honey over the top and garnish with the remaining green onions.


Serve immediately while hot, and enjoy the flavors of love rekindled in every bite.
