Why I Love This Recipe

I love making these! I am not a chocolate fan so I don't add the cacao powder and I use vanilla protein powder instead of chocolate. These are great for a quick bite between meals or something small to add to breakfast. Super yummy!

Ingredients You'll Need

1/2 cup chocolate protein powder
1/4 cup chia seeds
2 T ground flax seeds
1/2 t cinnamon
2 cups raw oats
4 diced dates
1 cup water
1/2 cup all-natural peanut butter
1/4 cup raw cacao powder or coconut flakes
crushed sea salt

Add the dry ingredients together in a large bowl.

Add remaining ingredients (except the cacao powder/coconut and the sea salt)

Mix together with a wooden spoon or your hands until well combined.

Roll into 1" balls using your hands, this gets a little messy, but it works. You may need to wash your hands several times throughout the process. If the mixture is too dry, add more water, 1 tsp at a time.

Add coconut flakes or raw cacao powder to a small dish and mix with the sea salt.

Roll each ball around until covered.

Lay out on parchment paper in rows and refrigerate until ready to eat. After a few hours, you can take them out and put them in covered Tupperware to keep them from getting too dry. Makes about 24 balls.
