Why I Love This Recipe

A childhood favorite gets a St. Patrick’s Day makeover! These colorful, gooey marshmallow bars are made with Lucky Charms cereal for a nostalgic, festive, and irresistibly fun treat. Who can resist those magically delicious marshmallows?

Ingredients You'll Need

6 cups Lucky Charms cereal
4 cups miniature marshmallows
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.

In a large pot, melt the butter over low heat.

Add the marshmallows to the melted butter and stir continuously until smooth and fully melted.

Remove the pot from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.

Gently fold in the cereal until all pieces are coated with the marshmallow mixture.

Transfer the cereal mixture to the prepared baking dish and press down lightly with a greased spatula to level it out. Avoid compacting too much for a gooey texture.

Let the mixture cool and set for approximately 1 hour.

Once set, cut into squares and serve.

Pairs Well With

Pairs wonderfully with a glass of cold milk or a creamy hot chocolate for an indulgent treat
