Why I Love This Recipe

I love Lumpia - ever since I had it at a friend's house in middle school, and it is so different from the traditional spring roll that I grew up with. This is my version of the best of both worlds

Ingredients You'll Need

1 package square large won ton skins
1 lb hamburger
2T roasted garlic
1 yellow onion diced and caramelized
1 c carrot finely shredded
1/4 lb green beans thinly sliced on the bias
1/2 package defrosted petite green peas
2T soy sauce
2T mirin
1 c bean sprouts
canola oil for frying

brown ground beef and drain

add garlic , onion, and rest of veggies

Stir fry until carrots are just cooked

Add soy sauce and mirin

Drain excess liquid from mixture

Place about 1 T mixture in middle of won ton wrapper, in long strip, wrap like a burrito, seal edge with a dab of water

Heat oil to 350 degrees and fry until golden brown
