Why I Love This Recipe

This recipe holds a special place in my heart. I used to make these with my Aunt Rose, who lives in Wisconsin, many times while I was growing up. I just love these cookies, because they taste good and also because they bring back great memories from my childhood.

Ingredients You'll Need

1 cup butter or margarine
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp water
1 tsp salt
2 eggs
2 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 cups M & Ms

Directions

Preheat oven to 375.

Blend butter or margarine and sugars.

Beat in vanilla, water & eggs.

Sift dry ingredients and add to mixture.

Fold in M & Ms.

Drop by teaspoonfuls on an ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes.

I'm so glad that you enjoyed them!! I haven't made them in a long time, I will have to make them again soon.

I made these today with my 3 1/2 year old. They're really good cookies. Thank you so much for sharing you Aunt Rose's recipe!
