Mama's Fried Potatoes

Why I Love This Recipe

- Grilled pork chops
- Holiday Meals (Thanksgiving, ect)
Optional ingredient
- You can also add cheese on top of the butter (Fabulous)!
Ingredients You'll Need
2 lbs of peeled potatoes
1 onion
Salt
Pepper
Season Salt
2 Tbsp of butter or margarine

Directions
- Grease skillet with oil and preheat until oil is hot
- Slice potatoes lengthwise (as if you were making French fries); then slice each strip widthwise into smaller chunks.
- Chop Onion
- Place potatoes into frying pan. Add onion, salt, pepper, and season salt
- Reduce heat to low and cover with a lid
- Stirring occasionally, Cook potatoes for 25 minutes, or until potatoes are soft
- Once the potatoes are done, add the butter (or margarine)
- Turn off the heat and cover with lid for 3 min to let butter melt
