"Brings a little bit of Mexican cuisine to the table"

Serves | Prep Time | Cook Time

Why I Love This Recipe

Desiree Bartlett - My Mexican-American family has always celebrated Thanksgiving with mash potatoes, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, stuffing, and turkey. I like adding this mango salsa to bring a little bit of our Mexican cuisine to the table. It goes great with turkey and it’s a nice balance of sweet and spicy. I love that it’s both tasty and good for you.

Ingredients You'll Need

• 2 fresh mangoes, nice and ripe. Diced to your desired size. (about 3 cups)
• 4 tablespoons finely diced red onion
• 1-2 jalapeños
• 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro, loosely packed
• 6 tablespoons fresh lime juice (do not use the bottled stuff)

Directions

Toss all ingredients together until combined. Serve immediately or refrigerate in a sealed container for up to 2 days.

To tame the heat use less jalapeño, seeded
To bring on the heat, use habaneros instead of jalapeños

Serve with tortilla chips.
