Why I Love This Recipe
This is from a book DeGrazia and Mexican cookery. This is a great hit during the summer (think Memorial/Labor days, Jul 4th bbqs...)
Ingredients You'll Need
1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
5 tbsp tequila
5 tbsp triple sec
1/2 cup fresh squeezed lime juice
1 1/2 cups whipping cream, beaten until stiff
1 graham cracker pie crust (9 or 10 inch pie)
extra limes for garnishing
Blend together all ingredients before whipping cream. Fold in whipped cream. Pour mixture into crust and freeze for at least 4 hours. Serve garnished with lime slices and/or whipped cream (I like it without whipped cream.) Make sure to keep it chilled until serving- it's still delicious but not as easy to eat soupy!
