"Marie's Old Fashion Fudge"

Serves 24 | Prep Time | Cook Time

Why I Love This Recipe

This is a richer, more solid fudge. It is very easy to overcook and have a grainy consistancy. Done correctly, it is the best.

Ingredients You'll Need

2/3 cup of Hershey's cocoa
3 cups of sugar
1/8 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups milk
4 1/2 Tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla


Combine cocoa, sugar, salt, and milk. Bring to boil, stirring frequently. Cook until a small amount of mixture forms a soft ball when dropped into cold water. Remove from heat; add butter. Cool to 110 degrees. Add vanilla and beat until mixture thickens. Pour into a buttered 8 x 8 pan. Cool and cut into squares.
