"Slices of pork tenderloin marinated in sweet red wine and grilled."
Serves 4 | Prep Time 10 minutes plus overnight in fridge and 1 hour marinate time | Cook Time 10-15 minutes grill timeWhy I Love This Recipe
Our family is fond of pork tenderloin, we especially like it grilled this way and served with a fruit salsa.
Ingredients You'll Need
2-3 lbs. pork tenderloin, silverskin removed and cut into thin slices
1 large onion, sliced
freshly ground sea salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
2 c. sweet red wine
Directions
Put pork tenderloin slices in a large bowl with sliced onion. Season to taste with freshly ground sea salt and freshly ground pepper. Mix well. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Next day, remove from fridge and pour sweet red wine over meat and mix well. Marinate at least 1 hour or more. While meat is marinating, soak your wooden skewers in warm water. When ready to grill, thread the meat onto the wooden skewers, do not crowd too much. Grill on grill pan or outdoor grill until done to your liking, using instant thermometer until it registers 145F. Serve immediately.
