Why I Love This Recipe

I love my meatballs but wanted to make them a little more healthy.

Marinara Sauce
24 ounce tomato sauce
3 large fresh basil leaves
3 T minced onion
2 T white wine
1 T olive oil
4 T parm cheese
1 T dried oregano
in a stock pot, saute onion in oil for 3-4 minutes, stirring all the time. add wine and reduce over med/high heat. Add sauce, oregano, cheese and cook over the lowest setting on your stove for 30 minutes. Add meatballs once they are done cooking in oven and simmer for another 20 minutes. Serve over pasta or make meatball subs.

Directions
