Questions, Comments & Reviews

my mother used to make this recipe without the water (extra milk) and then begin stacking the crepes-she poured melted butter over each one and sprinkled them with sugar. A normal batch was about 15 crepes high. She kept them hot in the oven while the crepes cooked. The melted butter and sugar made its own syrup-we only did this once a year so no one's arteries snapped shut but boy are they good. We cut them into pie shaped pieces to serve. No one in their right mind would try to eat a stack of these. You'd die and become, like Lot's wife, a sugar statue. Thanks for the additional recipe. It is one I will use. lucas hess
