Why I Love This Recipe

From Trudy's Texas Star in Austin, TX.

Ingredients You'll Need

2 ounces tequila (I recommend Herradura Silver or Patron Silver. Stick with a high quality brand.)
1 ounce Cointreau
1-2 ounces Sprite
1 ounce fresh squeezed orange juice
Juice of 1/2 of a fresh lime

Directions

Shake all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice.

Strain and serve in martini glasses (with a salted or unsalted rim depending upon personal preference).

Garnish with cocktail olives and a lime wheel.

You can also substitute an Anejo tequila with Grand Marnier in place of Cointreau.

This will result in a much more robust and stronger tasting drink.
