"This started out in our house because it was one of those bagged salad kits you can buy in the produce section, but then we realized we could make our own version that was way less expensive and tasted wayyyy better. This is one of Judy & Jami's favs!" Submitted by Chris & Judy Family
Ingredients You'll Need
Lettuce
1 Tomato, Diced
Cheese Of Any Kind On Hand
Tortilla Chips, Crushed
2 -3 Green Onions, Chopped
1 cup Salsa Ranch Dressing (or 1/2 cup Salsa mixed with 1/2 cup Jalapeno Ranch Dressing)
Directions
*Combine all salad ingredients
*Mix about half salsa and half ranch, to taste
*Mix dressing mix in with salad and serve (add more dressing as needed depending on how much salad you have)
Recipe Tips
*When your tortilla chip bag gets down to all those crumbs or little pieces at the end, keep that little bit left in the bag for your mexican salads
*Easiest way to mix up salads with the dressing is a stainless steel bowl and tong and just toss until dressing is well blended with salad ingredients
