Why I Love This Recipe

These delicious marinated vegetables are perfect with any dish; Chicken, Steak. Fish, etc. Promises to be a big hit at dinner.

Ingredients You'll Need

Marinated Vegetables

¾ c. vinegar
1/3 c. vegetable (or canola) oil
1 c. sugar
1 t. salt
1 t. pepper
1 T. water
1 can French green beans
1 can small garden peas
1 can “shoe peg” (white) corn
1 2-oz. jar chopped pimentos
1 c. chopped celery
1 green pepper, finely chopped
1 bunch green onions, chopped


Combine first 6 ingredients. In a medium saucepan; bring to boil, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Let cool. Drain canned vegetables in colander. Combine veggies and stir in vinegar mixture. Cover and place in refrigerator for at least 12 hours, stirring occasionally. Goes with everything, and everyone I have ever served this to has asked for the recipe!
