"An easy, crowd-pleasing, dinner idea"

Serves 2 | Prep Time 35 | Cook Time 10

Why I Love This Recipe

A delicious (semi) healthy dinner. Personally I don't choose fish as my protein unless it's sushi, but I can get behind this dish!

Calorie Estimate: 268 (including well seasoned broccolini and zucchini)

Ingredients You'll Need

2 black cod fillets, or regular cod fillets

1/4 cup low-sodium blond or white miso

t tbsp brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon toasted sesame oil

1 tablespoons mirin (can sub with vermouth and sugar)

Toasted sesame seeds and scallions, for garnish

Directions

Rinse fish fillets and pat dry with paper towels. Combine miso, brown sugar, sesame oil and mirin and stir well until ingredients are combined

Brush about 2 tablespoons miso glaze on each fish fillet. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 1 hour

Preheat oven on broil. Place marinated cod filets on baking sheet and broil for 4 minutes

Remove fish from oven and brush with remaining glaze. Lower oven to 375 degrees F. Cook an additional 5 to 6 minutes, until fish is flaky but not overcooked

Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and scallions

Enjoy!
