Mom's BBQ Country Ribs

Why I Love This Recipe
--Todd T.
Ingredients You'll Need
3-4 lbs country ribs
2 to 3 Lemons sliced into thin wheels
1 Large yellow onion sliced thinly
1 cup of catsup or small can of tomato paste
1/3 cup Worcestershire Sauce
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
A few dashes of Tabasco sauce
2 cups water
Directions
Place ribs in large roasting pan meaty side up. Cover with slices of onions then layer on the slices of lemon.
Roast uncovered in very hot oven (450 degrees) for 30 minutes.
While ribs are in the oven, combine remaining ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
After 30 minutes, remove ribs from the oven and pour the sauce over the ribs.
Put the ribs covered in sauce back into a 350 degree oven and continue cooking for about 45 minutes to an hour or until meat is drop-off-the-bones tender.
Baste ribs with sauce about every 15 minutes. If sauce gets too thick, add more water.
