2 cups Self=Rising Flour
1/4 cup sugar
1tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/3 c Crisco shortening
1/2 cup raisins
3/4 - 1 cup buttermilk

Directions
Heat oven to 450 degrees. In large bowl, combine flour, sugar cinnamon and baking soda; mix well. With pastry blender or fork cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs Stir in raisins. Stirring with fork add enough buttermilk until soft dough forms and mixture begins to pull away from sides of bowl. On lightly floured surface, kneed dough until no longer sticky. Roll out rough to 1 /2 inch thickness. Cut with floured round cutter. Place biscuits with sides touching on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 450 degrees for 10-15 min or until golden brown. Cool 5 minutes on wire rack. In small bowl, combine powdered sugar and enough milk for desired frosting consistency. Frost warm biscuits. Serve warm.
