Why I Love This Recipe
When my brothers and I were growing up, we loved this desert and looked forward to it on every special occasions
Ingredients You'll Need
1 box lemon jello (small box)
1 cup boiling water
1 can evaporated milk 12 oz
1 pkg cream cheese
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups crushed pineapple drained
3 cups crushed graham crackers
1 stick melted butter
Directions
Dissolve jello in boiling water; place in fridge until chilled and slightly thick
Mix together cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, drained pineapple and thickened jello, blend well
Whip the evaporated milk; fold this into the cheese mixture
Mix the graham cracker crumbs and butter; use about 2/3 to pack bottom and sides of 9 x 13 pan
Spoon filling into pan and sprinkle remaining crumbs on top
Chill at least 3 hours or overnight before serving
