Mussels and Prawn Soup
Why I Love This Recipe
I love seafood. It reminds me of my childhood when my mom used to cook Mussels Soup. She always cooked that when I was a kid because she wants us to eat clean and nutritious food and veer away from fast food.
Ingredients You'll Need
2 lbs Fresh Mussels (yes, they got to be fresh and not frozen)
1 lb Fresh Tiger Prawns (fresh and not frozen)
Ginger, about half palm size
Chicken Stock of Fish Stock
1 liter of water
Salt and pepper to taste.
Pork Broth Cube (Optional)
Wash and clean the Mussels and Prawns first. Cut the moustache from Prawns. Set aside.
Peel and Chop the ginger.
Boil the 1 liter of water. High Heat.
Put the Mussels and Prawns to boiling water, then add the ginger.
Add Fish Stock or Pork Broth Cube (Optional)
Wait until the Prawns turn red.
