My "Famous" French Toast
Why I Love This Recipe
When I was really little, my grandma would make french toast for breakfast when I was staying at her house. I have modified her recipe slightly to be yummier and healthier.
Ingredients You'll Need
6 slices wheat bread
3 tablespoons milk
Vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg, to your taste
2 teaspoons powdered sugar
1. Whisk together your egg and milk, then slowly add the vanilla, ending with the spices.
2. Put one slice of bread into egg mixture.
3. Flip bread over.
4. Cook soaked bread on a preheated greased pan until golden brown on both sides.
5. Serve warm topped with maple syrup and powdered sugar.
